Leading Learning, 2014. http://llsop.canadianschoollibraries.ca/wp-content/uploads/2016/09/llsop.pdf                 Part of the role of a Teacher Librarian is to facilitate collaboration.   As shown in the figure above, the Canadian Librarian Association puts emphasis on the role of the T.L. in facilitating collaboration and co-planning and co-teaching. The document is called Leading Learning, but my interpretation of that is that T.L.s lead the learning of the students and the school community, not necessarily of the Teachers. We collaborate with teachers and staff to create meaningful learning for the student population. During collaboration, and our practice in general, there is often also a lot of personal learning that happens.
